The developer console in Subnautica can be used to do many things, including executing cheat commands, fixing bugs with your save and improving your game's performance. Below, we have detailed the steps you must follow to open to console.
Opening the Console on Windows and Mac
You must first enable the console feature, to do this:
- Press the F3 key.
- Press the F8 key.
- Untick the "Disable Console" button in the top left.
After enabling the console (via the steps above), simply press the ENTER key on your keyboard.
To send a command, enter your desired command in the input box, and press enter on your keyboard. Use the up key on your keyboard to scroll through your previously entered commands.
Opening the Console on XBOX One
You do not need to enable the console feature in XBOX, as you would with Windows or Mac. To open the Subnautica console in XBOX:
Press LB, A and RB at the same time.
